The Knoff Yoga Association Inc. has been set up for all certificated yoga teachers.
Members of the Association and holders of a valid teaching certificate are eligible for special offers under our two Plans.
MEMBER PLAN A
(for Australian residents only)
Group insurance for 200 hr or less certificated teachers (including Level 1 Discovery and Level 2 Chair Yoga). OAMPS combined Public/Products Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Member fee: AUD $100 joining fee and AUD $55 yearly renewal fee.

KNOFF YOGA ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP PLAN A - INSURANCE
For Australian residents only.
PLAN A Member joining fee - AUD $100.
PLAN A Yearly renewal fee - AUD $55 per annum.
Members of the Knoff Yoga Association and holders of a valid teaching certificate for 200 hr or less (including Level 1 Discovery & Level 2 Chair Yoga) are eligible to apply for discounted Combined Public Liability & Products Liability Insurance including Professional Risks through OAMPS Insurance Brokers Ltd.
The Knoff Yoga Association has a common due date of the 1st September for both it's members and their insurance policies. This means that each new policy that comes to OAMPS from Knoff Yoga, must expire on that common due date. All Knoff Yoga Association memberships and insurance policies will fall due on the 1st September.
OAMPS Insurance requires persons with teaching certificates of less than 200 hours (including Level 1 Discovery & Level 2 Chair Yoga) to be a member of an association.
The Knoff Yoga Association Inc. joining fee is AUD $100 and the yearly renewal fee is $55.
INSURANCE COVER
1: All policies will now automatically provide $10 million Public Liability cover. Lesser limits will still be available for Products Liability including Professional Risks. You can also choose to take out $20,000,00 Public Liability cover.
2: Cover will be available under the members policy for Locum Tenens (for employees only) up to 90 days per annum. This is subject to the Locum being properly qualified and not otherwise insured.
3: There will be no excess, other than for claims in respect of Property in the Care, Custody or Control of the member (eg. damage to leased premises). There is a $500 excess on the Legal Power extension if you take up this option.
4: Products Liability including Professional Risks is now available up to $10 million - previously the maximum limit was $5 million.

HOW TO JOIN
Remember, if your teaching certificate is for less than 200 hrs, in order to apply to OAMPS for insurance, you must be a member of the Knoff Yoga Association - Plan A.
To join, please download and complete the Knoff Yoga Association PLAN A Member Application Form.
You will be issued with a member number and access to our online Member Sign-in for Plan A members. The initial joining fee is AUD $100 and the annual renewal fee is $55.
To apply to OAMPS for insurance you will need to know your Knoff Yoga Association membership number and your membership type - which is 'Teaching'.
Make sure you mention that you are applying under the Knoff Yoga Association.

HOW TO RENEW YOUR TEACHING CERTIFICATE
Knoff Yoga Certificated Teachers - please note that the Level 1 Discovery, Level 2 Chair Yoga and Level 3 Foundation Teaching Certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. All higher level certificates are valid for 5 years.
In order to renew your certificate you have 4 options:
1: Send in photos of you performing the Asanas syllabus of your certificate. Renewal fee $100 per hour. Includes a new certificate and postage.
2: Do a private class with either Nicky Knoff or James Bryan to view your practice. Renewal fee $100 per hour. Includes a new certificate and postage.
3: Participate part-time in a Teacher Training Course so Nicky Knoff can see your current level of practice. Fee based on hours attending.
4: Upgrade to a higher level certificate through Knoff Yoga Teacher Training.
